Mass Effect 2 collector’s edition, new screens
Even with Dragon Age: Origins out the door, Bioware aren’t resting, they’ve got Mass Effect 2 to finish, sequel to the much loved Xbox 360 and PC title.
They’ve also released details of the special “Collector’s edition” of the game, retailing at $69.99 for the console and $59.99 PC versions. That extra $10 is going to buy you the obligatory hard tin case for your game as well as the 48 page hardcover “Art of Mass Effect 2” book and a behind the scenes DVD.
You’ll also be entitled to “unique in-game weapons and armor that can only be obtained by purchasing this version” and a shot of the Collector’s armor can be seen below, though no details on the cool weapons you’ll have access to.
Once again Sony gamers will miss out on the series, despite many rumours to the contrary, but they can settle for drooling over a new batch of screenshots.
Mass Effect 2 will be release January 26th 2010 for Xbox 360 and PC.
