Everquest II gets 6th expansion: Sentinel’s Fate
Ten years old, the EverQuest series shows no signs of stopping any time soon with pre-orders now being taken on EverQuest II’s sixth expansion pack, Sentinel’s Fate.
The expansion will take players “into the fabled lands of Odus, filled with epic quests, magnificent dungeons and limitless content”. Quite what “limitless content” means, I’ve no clue. As expected, the expansion comes with a new level cap increase and players will have 400 new quests to complete on their journey to the the new 90 level limit. A spring cleaning might be in order, as 2,000 new weapons, armor and items have been added but at least that should mean avoiding the horror of two party members having the same outfit.
Priced at $39.99, retail buyers will have access to the new content upto a week before digital downloaders. Those looking for a little extra ‘umph’ can cough up an extra $30 and opt for the collector’s edition which throws in a DVD of the documentary series EverCracked!, which can be viewed at IGN.com, along with an exclusive Armored Highland Stalker both as an in-game mount and a figurine for your desk.
