Tiberium saga draws to a close March 16th
Kane’s grand plan and the future of the Global Defence Initiative is revealed when Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight is released March 16th 2010.
“Finally, fans will learn what happens to Kane, Nod, GDI, Earth and Tiberium when Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight hits store shelves March 16th,” said Mike Glosecki, Lead Producer of Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight at EA Los Angeles. “We can’t wait for fans to experience the trademark C&C action with the new level of strategic depth we have added, especially with our new experience system.”
Also revealed were the pre-order bonuses for those anxious to get their hands on the conclusion to the Tiberium saga which includes immediate access to the C&C 4 beta, a copy of the soundtrack performed by the London Philharmonic orchestra and an exclusive prequel mission for the game.
GameStop pre-orders apparently won’t get Beta access, but those who preorder online at GameStop.com will be treated to an autographed headshot of the Guiness Book of World Records’ “longest running actor in a video game series”, Joe Kucan who plays the Brotherhood of Nod’s charismatic leader Kane.
C&C4’s release brings a sadness with it not only due to it marking the end of what will be a 15 year old franchise, but also because rumours are that EA’s recently announced job cuts will mean almost the entire team will be laid off once the game ships.
C&C4 arrives on PC March 16th 2010.
