Hidden messages in Assassin’s Creed 2
For AC2, Ubisoft really have created a much deeper and more involved experience, some of which shows the level of detail of an ARG for Desmond amongst all that rooftop running and stabbing.
Uncovering glyphs prompts a series of visual mini-games to unlock small video snippets and one of these mini-games also had the following morse code randomly printed on one screen:
- . — .–. .-.. .- .-. – . -..- – … .- -.. .- .–. – . -.. -… -.– — .-. .-.-.- … — .. – ….
A quick trip to google and we find it says TEMPLARTEXTSADAPTEDBYMR.SMITH, which then begs the question who is Mr. Smith? Makes me wish I’d written down the earlier binary clue hidden in one of the pictures to see what it said.

one of the binary codes says somthin like sumarian somethin then it has a series of numbers its weird as hell
also you see …. .. — .. -. – …. . -.-. …. . … – in one of the inheritance gliph things and it says HIMINTHECHEST
there are other codes which i have just started to discover, there’s two of them in hex and one i cannot decode with the simple version i have because it has an alteration encryption, and then the one that i could decode says “Antikythera Mechanism, much older than 150 B.C.E.” i don’t know the connections and it’s too vgue but here’s a start to find out what the creators left to figure out.
